100% stainless steel from start to finish, cuts are pre-made for you, mandrel bent tubing is internally polished for you, runners are pre-welded for you to start your design. Authentic Kinetic Motorcycles bends marked with "K.M." are internally polished for the smoothest airflow possible. Waterjet CNC cut flanges from stainless. We can't stress using stainless enough! Stainless is the best material behind titanium for exhaust fabrication, why? Unlike mild steel, it won't corrode, sure, you say you're gonna coat or wrap your mild steel pipe? Well, eventually condensation will get to the inside of it and cavities of rust will form, then your pipe will rot away from the inside out. This will never happen with stainless. On top of that, stainless is much stronger.
We provide enough material and more for you to get creative with your welder and bike. We HIGHLY recommend TIG welding these pieces!
Why would you need the pie cuts? You need pie cuts if your design uses a tight radius bend that the mandrel elbow cannot provide, this lets you get a lot more creative with the design as you aren't limited by an already bent elbow. Therefore, by rotating the pie cuts you can create unique angles no machine bend can provide. Everything is done for you, all you need to do its tack it and weld it!
Use the 1 7/8" pie cuts straight onto the 1 3/4" pre-welded runners to start the taper going to a full 2" diameter.
Everything pictured comes with the kit, O2 bungs and slash cut tips you can add to it if you'd like. This kit is intended for the Harley V-Twin, will work with Sportsters and Dynas.
