Our intakes are not only extremely lightweight, but the carbon fiber material we use allows the air to not heat up prior to entering the throttle body . The opposite would occur if it were metal due to the alloys retaining heat from the engine thus making the air around it warm. Which just means that hot air is not good for engine performance. The filter is reusable, just wash it when there’s visible buildup. Comes with gaskets and all necessary hardware for a bolt-on application.
